    How to use AroXx Dictation

    Here are the most important steps. You can reopen this guide at any time using the Guide button above.

    Create a new dictation

    First choose whether you want a relaxed, balanced or challenging exercise. Then select ‘Start dictation’. The button shows progress and is briefly disabled while your dictation is created.

    Listen to the dictation

    Use ‘From the beginning’ to hear the dictation. Use ‘Pause’ to stop the voice and continue afterwards. You may listen as often as you like.

    Compare with the original text

    When you have finished writing, select ‘Show original text’. You can then compare your text with the correct version and find your own mistakes.

    Enter your mistakes

    Then finish the dictation. You can enter your mistakes or submit your text. AroXx saves your mistakes and remembers what you should practice next.

    Find your saved mistakes

    Your saved mistakes appear under ‘My mistakes’ on the left. There you can see what was wrong, the correct spelling and why.

    What do the menu items mean?

    The menu is your learning area. Every item has its own purpose:
